Actually Not Forgetting

Wow. I went to go see "A Mighty Heart," the new Angelina Jolie movie last night about Daniel Pearl's kidnapping; she plays his incredible wife Mariane.
Watching all the scenes in Pakistan brought back to me the incredible stress I felt from the chaos of visiting India earlier this year. Beyond that, I can't even to capture the wide range of emotions I felt during the movie—from anger to sadness—but for some reason I was so proud to sit there and watch that movie. I feel so often stories like Daniel Pearl come and go and then the whole world forgets. Everytime I see something about Pearl I know the world hasn't forgotten. That makes me really happy.
Go see the movie. It opens tomorrow.
